Every experience begins as Iowa Wine Tours picks you up from your bed and breakfast, hotel or other remote location and embarks on beautiful journey around the Upper Mississippi Valley Wine Region. Fifty percent deposit due at reservation. Cash or Venmo only.
Three Winery & Food Tour
Joins us for a scenic ride through the rolling hills and valleys of Dubuque County with a visit to Barrel Head Winery for a wine tasting and onsite shopping. We then depart to Park Farm Winery in Bankston, Iowa for a flight, delicious woodstone pizza and onsite shopping. Then it's on to O So Good Winery in Dyersville, Iowa for a wine tasting, delicious cheese and onsite shopping. Price includes climate-controlled transportation from your lodging in Dubuque, tasting fees, pizza, cheese and bottled water. This tour is available from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Fridays and 11:00am until 3:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Pick up times may vary depending on where you are staying. We only accept private group tours. You have to have at least 8 people in your group or pay for the minimum number of 8 people. Maximum capacity for the bus is 13 people. No minors allowed.

"Great Experience 70th Birthday"
My wife and I traveled to Dubuque to celebrate my 70th birthday. While researching activities prior to our visit, I came across information on this service and, after contacting the owner settled on one of the tours.
We couldn't have made a better choice.
The driver (and owner) picked us up at our hotel and, after picking up some more participants at various other hotels in Dubuque and Galena, we were off. As we traveled and got to know our fellow wine enthusiasts, Dennis kept up a running commentary on the wineries we were to visit as well as regaling us with the history of the region and the many landmarks along the way.
The price for the trip included wine tastings at each of the wineries, a pizza at the second stop, bottled water, on the bus, and (as an added bonus) Dennis took care of sorting and storing all of our purchases so that all we had to do was enjoy the wines and the scenery. In addition, he had a good working relationship with the wineries we visited and made sure that everything was working smoothly for our activities. At no time were we rushed and we were constantly urged to relax and enjoy ourselves.
Personally, the part most appreciated was the hotel pick-up. We didn't have to worry about a designated driver so everyone had a chance to partake freely of the many wines available without having to be concerned about driving under the influence. And while there are other organizations offering tours, Iowa Wine Tours, Inc. is the only tour that offers this hotel pick up service. Dennis has been conducting these tours for ten years and was the first to do so.
Bottom line is that this is one experience you shouldn't miss if you're in the Dubuque area and we will surely do the tour again when next we visit.

Bachelorette Party was Great!
I booked this trip for my friends bachelorette party for something to do during the day! We had a blast! I would definitely recommend it! It's a great price, super convenient that they pick you up from your hotel, and we had great pizza!! We can't wait to do it again!
